About us

Not Alone! is a group of engaged volunteers from communities at the least risk for severe COVID-19 reactions working to bring groceries and supplies to those in high-risk demographics. We’re focused most prominently on the elderly, persons with disability, and immunocompromised, in a need of help.

We call ourselves Not Alone! because, given what’s currently known about COVID-19 transmission methods, we work to indirectly to try to make you feel not alone, as much as possible, in facing the struggles. Though, most of the interactions will be contactless (physically), you’ll still talk on the phone with your volunteer, and you can tell each other a little about yourselves! In this incredibly isolating time, we’re happy to provide some compassion.

How it works?

Fill Out The Request Form.

Fill out the Request a Delivery form. We’ll search through our pool of volunteers and match you with an available volunteer who lives near you.

Conversation With Volunteer.

Wait for a phone call from the volunteer in your neighborhood who’ll be completing your delivery, so you can confirm with them exactly what you need and where you need it from. We want to make sure we get it right!

Grocery Bill Payment Arrangement.

Coordinate your grocery payment in one of three ways - (1) Call the store in advance to place your order, and pay with your credit card over the phone (be sure to let them know someone else will be picking it up on your behalf!); (2) Provide your volunteer with cash before they complete the order; or (3) Reimburse your volunteer (via app or cash) after they pick up your items.

Get Your Delieveries.

Listen for your doorbell to ring as your volunteer drops off your food and steps at least 6 feet away from your door! Your receipt will be in the bag.
